JOB OVERVIEW:

The Video Editor will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging video content that supports brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, and digital growth initiatives. This role involves editing, refining, and delivering video assets for social media, advertising, websites, and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and digital marketing requirements. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and content strategists to ensure all video content aligns with brand standards, campaign objectives, and deadlines.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging video content for the agency and its clients.

This includes editing marketing videos, social media content, ads, reels, and promotional videos that align with brand goals and drive engagement. You will work closely with the creative, marketing, and strategy teams to bring ideas to life through compelling visuals.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of delivering excellent work with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Edit and produce high-quality video content for digital marketing campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.

  2. Create short-form and long-form videos including ads, reels, brand videos, and promotional content.

  3. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to execute creative concepts.

  4. Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and music where needed.

  5. Optimize video content for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).

  6. Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

  7. Perform quality checks and revisions based on feedback.

  8. Manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines consistently.

  9. Stay updated with video editing trends, tools, and platform best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in graphic design (agency experience is a plus).
  • Professional certifications or training in video editing tools are an added advantage.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through video content.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A laptop is a must-have.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio.

  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.

  • Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.

  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations is an added advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail and creative thinking skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

  • Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
