Privacy Policy | Dgazelle AI CRM
Last updated: 25th June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dgazelle Digital Growth Solutions LTD (“Dgazelle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Dgazelle CRM platform (the “Service”) — a customer relationship management platform that helps businesses capture, manage, and respond to leads across channels including WhatsApp, SMS, and others.
This policy applies to the Dgazelle AI CRM platform and its related services. It is separate from the privacy policy governing our agency website.
1. Who we are
Dgazelle Digital Growth Solutions LTD is a company registered in Nigeria. We provide the Dgazelle AI CRM platform to businesses (“Customers”) who use it to communicate with and manage their own customers and leads (“End Users”).
For data that our Customers process about their own End Users through the Service, Dgazelle acts as a data processor on behalf of the Customer, who is the data controller. For account and billing information about our Customers, Dgazelle acts as a data controller.

2. Information we collect
a) Customer account information. When a business signs up, we collect business and user details such as name, email address, phone number, organization name, role, and login credentials.
b) End User and lead data (processed on behalf of Customers). When our Customers use the Service to communicate with their leads and customers, we process information including: names, phone numbers, WhatsApp profile information, message content (inbound and outbound), conversation timestamps, lead status, tags, notes, and related activity. This data is processed on behalf of and at the direction of the Customer.
c) WhatsApp Business Platform data. Where a Customer connects a WhatsApp Business Account through the Service, we process data made available through the WhatsApp Business Platform / Meta Cloud API, including business phone number identifiers, WhatsApp Business Account identifiers, message content and delivery statuses, and contact information of people who message the business. We handle this data in accordance with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
d) Payment information. Subscription and billing payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Paystack). We do not store full card details; we receive limited transaction and status information.
e) Usage and technical data. We collect log data, device and browser information, IP address, and usage analytics to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- enable Customers to capture leads and send and receive messages across WhatsApp, SMS, and other channels;
- measure and improve response times and lead-handling (core “speed-to-lead” functionality);
- assign leads, send notifications, and generate analytics for Customers;
- process subscriptions, billing, and credit wallets;
- provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain security;
- comply with legal obligations and the terms of the platforms we integrate with, including Meta.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use the content of End User WhatsApp messages for advertising.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the Service:
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform). To send and receive messages and manage WhatsApp Business Accounts on behalf of Customers, data is exchanged with Meta via the WhatsApp Business Platform / Cloud API.
- Payment processor (Paystack). To process subscription payments and top-ups.
- SMS providers (e.g. BulkSMSNigeria, Africa’s Talking). To deliver SMS messages a Customer chooses to send.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers. To host and run the Service securely.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Each third party processes data only for the purposes described and under appropriate safeguards.
5. Data retention
We retain Customer account data for as long as the account is active and as needed to provide the Service. End User and lead data is retained on behalf of the Customer for the duration of their use of the Service and deleted or returned in accordance with our agreement with the Customer, unless longer retention is required by law. Customers may request deletion of data they control.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to data portability.
- End Users: if your data is processed through a business that uses Dgazelle AI CRM, please contact that business (the controller) directly. We will support them in fulfilling your request.
- Customers and account holders: you may access, update, or delete your information through your account or by contacting us at hello@dgazelledigital.com.
You can also stop receiving messages from a business on WhatsApp by messaging them directly, blocking the number, or following opt-out instructions provided.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, tenant isolation between Customers, and secure storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.
8. International data transfers
We operate in Nigeria and may use service providers located in other countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
